China Hainan island Duty Free Shops
Hainan Island, one of the Chinese popular travel sites with a warm climate all year round, was chosen by President Xi's development policies. There are various global events such as the Boao Forum are also held every year and many duty-free products can be purchased for those people living and visiting the island.
Hong Kong has been a popular place for many consumers to buy duty-free goods along with travel, but the biggest difference between Hong Kong and Hainan is the duty-free limit.
If you look at the duty-free part, Hainan locals and tourists over the age of 16 can purchase 100,000 yuan a year and about USD14,000, regardless of the quantity. In the case of Hong Kong, it is only worth 5,000 yuan per year for each person, which is about USD700, so there is a relatively large difference. There is a large sale of duty-free goods purchased by Chinese people from the mainland, and in particular, proxy purchases are often found.

Even though there is no limit on the quantity of each product for annual purchases and a large amount of 100,000 yuan can be exempted, but please note that there are restrictions on 30 cosmetics, 4 electronic devices, and 1,500L of liquor per person for each visit.
